On September 23, 2024, I bought a pre-own 2023 Lexus GS
On September 23, 2024, I bought a pre-own 2023 Lexus GS 460 with 4,122 miles for $65,000 from Toyota of North Austin. While the vehicle itself is nearly new, there were issues with the dealership that left me dissatisfied. Missing Items: When the vehicle was delivered, despite its low mileage, I was only provided with one key fob, not usually 2 as expected. Purchasing a new Lexus key fob and have it programmed would cost me over $500. Additionally, the emergency tool kit was incomplete, missing several tools. See the attached picture. Payment Method Issues: Although they successfully charged $5,000 to my credit card at the signing table, they refused to accept my personal check for the remaining balance. I had to leave without the vehicle until I purchased a cashier's check to complete the payment.

Took ot to the dealership and the fellow told me me a rat may have eaten up my wire, due to where my car is packed. And to be frank my car is packed in front of my apartment complex. Guess the cost of repair, $745.00 . Go to the counter to pay,,the lady tells me to pay $700.

Please save yourself the time and money and avoid this dealership like the plague. I recently purchased a used vehicle here and immediately had it inspected from an unbiased 3rd party. To my dismay, there was almost $6k worth of issues that needed to be addressed. Here is a list of items that were wrongā¦ - metal to metal brake pads - 4 bald tires - deteriorating motor mounts - engine hose leaks - no clutch fluid - bad brake fluid - worn serpentine belt This isnāt even the entire list! When I brought this to the dealers attention, I was completely shut down. They just kept saying that there was nothing wrong with the car and that I was essentially being lied to by Honda. I had video evidence showcasing the deteriorating motor mounts, as well as the 2mm brake pads, worn serpentine belt, and engine leaks. Clearly that wasnāt enough for themā¦ This has got to be the worst dealership that I have ever worked with! Rather than fix their mistake, they would prefer to screw over a paying customer. Itās absolutely insane that they wouldnāt address safety concerns and just admit to having sold a car that needed work done before it should have ever left the lot. Now I have a car that I donāt feel safe to drive unless I dump a bunch of money into it that I shouldnāt have to. This place deserves negative stars and I wish that I could give them that. I hope that I at least save one person from making the mistake of purchasing from here. No one should have to go through this. Update** After being told to reach out to the preowned Manager, this is the useless response that I receivedā¦ Dear Buyer, āThank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding your vehicle purchase from Toyota of North Austin. I understand your frustration with the condition of the vehicle upon purchase, especially regarding the rear brakes. Our team has thoroughly inspected the vehicle in question after it was brought back. We found that the vehicle is in normal working condition for its age and mileage, and all systems are functioning as expected. While we strive to ensure that all our vehicles meet our standards before they leave our lot, we must respectfully decline to perform any additional work on this vehicle. We appreciate your understanding that with used vehicles, conditions can vary based on their history and wear.
